When one surveys the claims of Christ, it is easy to see that He made history's most radical claims, even claiming to be God. Of course, anyone can say they are God and Jesus knew that so he substantiated His claims by living a sinless life, fulfilling hundreds of Old Testament prophecies, performing numerous miracles (e.g., healing the sick, opening the eyes of the blind),and ultimately raising Himself from the dead. Christianity rests on the resurrection. If Jesus did not rise from the dead, He is a false prophet, for He said that He would, and the disciples were liars because they said that He did.
