Zionism
is the belief that the Jewish people have a right to self-determination in their historic homeland. At ABR, we stand with Israel—not out of politics, but out of conviction rooted in Scripture, history, and moral clarity. Here’s why:
1. Because God Gave the Land to the Jewish People
The Bible teaches that God gave the land of Israel to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—and to their descendants as an everlasting covenant (Genesis 12:7; 15:18–21; 17:8). This promise is reaffirmed throughout both Testaments and remains distinct from God’s covenant with the Church (Romans 11:1–2, 29). To affirm Israel’s right to the land is to affirm God’s faithfulness to His Word and His chosen people.
2. Because Israel’s Existence Fulfills Prophecy
The rebirth of Israel in 1948 was not just a geopolitical milestone—it was a miracle foretold in Scripture. After nearly two thousand years of exile, the Jewish people returned to their homeland, revived their ancient language, and made the desert bloom. Prophets like Ezekiel (37) and Isaiah (11:11–12) predicted this very restoration. Every time we see Israel thriving, we’re reminded that God keeps His promises.
3. Because Israel Is a Beacon of Freedom and Democracy
In a region dominated by dictatorships and extremism, Israel shines as the Middle East’s only stable democracy—protecting freedom of speech, religion, and the press. Jews, Christians, Muslims, Druze, and atheists all enjoy equal rights as citizens. ABR stands with Israel because it stands for liberty, justice, and human dignity.
4. Because Israel Defends Itself—and Western Civilization
Israel’s struggle for survival is not just local; it’s part of the broader defense of civilization against terror and tyranny. The same radical ideologies that target Israel also target the West. Supporting Israel means standing with a nation that shares our values—courage, innovation, and moral clarity—and refuses to bow to intimidation.
5. Because the Jewish People Have a Right to Self-Determination
Every nation deserves a homeland, and the Jewish people—one of the world’s oldest continuous civilizations—deserve theirs in the land of their ancestors. After centuries of persecution, from Pharaoh to Hitler, the Jewish return to Israel represents both justice and survival. Zionism is not about privilege; it’s about the universal right to live freely and securely in one’s historic homeland.
6. Because Israel Blesses the World
From medical advances and water-saving technologies to humanitarian relief and agricultural breakthroughs, Israel continues to bless the nations—just as God promised Abraham: “Through you all the families of the earth shall be blessed” (Genesis 12:3). ABR recognizes that standing with Israel is not only biblical but also a way to honor the immense good Israel brings to the world.
7. Because Standing with Israel Is Standing with Truth
In an age of misinformation and rising antisemitism, supporting Israel is an act of moral courage. The Jewish connection to Jerusalem and the land of Israel is among the most well-documented facts in history—biblically, archaeologically, and linguistically. At ABR, we stand with truth over propaganda, with light over darkness, and with God’s covenant people over the lies of revisionism.
